Good value on content bundle

I was looking to get some exposure for my new startup and found Business Intelligence. The content bundle discount they offered for a Sponsored Article and a mention in their newsletter seemed like the best deal. It was worth the price. The team was responsive, and my content went live faster than I expected. I felt like I got good visibility for what I paid.

Smooth process, good exposure

I submitted a Guest Blog Post and purchased a Digital Media Sponsorship for a series of Marketing Insights Videos. The initial inquiry about the guest post fee was handled promptly. The guidelines for both were clear, which made preparing the content pretty straightforward. My blog post was edited professionally and published within 7 business days, exactly as they outlined. The video sponsorship was managed well too; they integrated our branding subtly, which was what we wanted. I also signed up for their newsletter, and the content has been genuinely useful. Their support team was responsive when I had a question about the analytics for the video views. It's a solid platform for business content.

Consistent quality, easy to use

I've used Business Intelligence for Sponsored Articles a few times now. The process for submitting content was just as smooth this time as it was before. My article was published quickly, and I saw good engagement again. Always a reliable platform for getting our insights out there.

Anyone know if they're legit? Like, is this a real source for business news or just another random podcast?

K Karen J. 1 week ago
Totally legit. It's run by WD Strategies, which is a known consultancy. They get some pretty big names on their show, so it's not just some backyard operation.

Yeah, I've been following them for a while. The hosts are solid, and the insights are genuinely useful. Not clickbait-y at all.

Thinking about sponsoring a podcast episode. Do they offer any discounts for first-time sponsors?

M Michelle Phillips 3 weeks ago
I don't think they advertise first-time sponsor discounts directly. You'd probably have to reach out to them and negotiate. They seem to do custom packages.

My company sponsored an episode last year. We talked to them directly and got a package deal, but it wasn't an 'advertised' discount code or anything. Worth asking them though!

How does the Business Intelligence podcast compare to something like Masters of Scale? Is it more interview-based or like, analysis?

J Jason N. 3 weeks ago
It's pretty different. Masters of Scale is more polished stories, almost narrative. BI is definitely more interview-heavy, really deep dives with business leaders. Less 'story' and more 'insights' if that makes sense.

H Hannah J. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I'd say BI is a lot more about practical strategies and direct interviews. Masters of Scale is good for inspiration, but BI feels more actionable for me.

Are the video streams behind a paywall, or can anyone just watch them?

L Laura White 1 month ago
Some of it is free, but I think the full archive or certain premium content might be for subscribers or those who buy content bundles. Not everything is open access.

You can find some free stuff on their site or YouTube, but for the full library and exclusive content, you'll probably need to be a subscriber.

Thinking about getting my guest blog post up. What's the usual turnaround time from submission to actually seeing it live?

L Leah Wright 2 weeks ago
I submitted one a while back. It took about two weeks from when they confirmed receipt to when it was published. Not super fast, but not terrible.

B Brandon King 2 weeks ago
Depends on their editorial calendar, I think. I've seen some go up quicker, some take a bit longer. They'll usually give you an estimate when you submit it.

I'm in Chicago, if I subscribe to the newsletter, will it be tailored to my region or more general business stuff?

J John 1 month ago
The newsletter is generally broad business and industry insights, not really geo-specific as far as I've seen. You'll get relevant content no matter where you are.

B Betty 1 month ago
It's more about global and national business trends, not local Chicago news. Still super useful though!

How often do new podcast episodes usually drop? Weekly? Bi-weekly?

B Brian T. 1 week ago
They usually release new episodes weekly, pretty consistently. Keeps my commute interesting!

Yeah, it's a weekly thing. You can count on a new one every week, I think it's Tuesdays?

Is there a fee for putting up a guest post, or is it free if they accept your article?

M Melissa Jackson 4 weeks ago
Yeah, there's a fee for guest posts. It's not a free submission platform, unfortunately. They make that pretty clear when you inquire.

K Karen R. 3 weeks ago
You definitely have to pay for guest post publication. They don't do it for free, even if they like your content.
